The BMOLH is a dynamic source of local history showcasing artefacts from Pre-history to Roman, Guy Fawkes and gunpowder, Victorian to World War II: featuring significant information on the Bayeux Tapestry in its Educational Resource Centre along with static displays of a complete Stothard engraving of the tapestry. There are also Aural histories, presentations and film works e.g. Roman iron-making, Falconry, 100's of photographs and postcards from approx. 1890's onwards, are continually being added to the Resource Centre.
