Denby Visitor Centre

Located just south of Ripley, off the A38 Denby Visitor Centre is open daily throughout the year. The centre is free to enter and has a pleasant cobbled courtyard surrounded by shops and the famous Denby Factory Shop packed full of great bargains on seconds. Things to do at the centre include a choice of fascintating fully guided pottery tours suitable for the family with 'hands on' activities such as paint a plate and make a clay souvenir. There are also free daily free cookery demonstrations in the kitchen theatre lasting around 30 minutes.

Examples from Denby's 200 years can be seen in the small museum and Bourne's Restaurant serves delicious Derbyshire snacks, meals and drinks. The award winning shops include the new Denby Home Store, Cookery Emporium, Garden and Gift Shops plus Dartington Crystal Factory Shop. Allow 3-5 hours for a full visit.
