The Kennet & Avon Canal Trust provides a collection of unique experiences and information that go back to the origins of The Kennet & Avon Canal itself and indeed Britain's Industrial Heritage as a whole.

By operating our pumping stations and museum and maintaining fascinating collections of Canal Memorabilia at all of our sites, we provide an opportunity to immerse yourselves in our country's glorious industrial past and to marvel at the remarkable achievements of those that came before us. At the same time we are preserving them for the future, so that our descendants will continue to be able to enjoy and experience them.

We operate four boats on the Kennet & Avon Canal. All are crewed by highly qualified, enthusiastic volunteers, and provide regularly run trips at modest cost, over much of the canal.

The boats are also available for charter for special occasions. A ride in one of these craft is an excellent way of experiencing the magnificent scenery surrounding The Kennet & Avon Canal - surely one of the most picturesque canals in the country!
